Minor issue with tutorial

Post by fredriknyman » Wed Aug 06, 2014 12:24 pm

What is the best way to report issues with tutorials or make suggestions for improvements?

Looking at the Eagle schematics tutorial: https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/us ... ard-layout

It seems there is a minor problem: the CTS signal isn't connected anywhere.

CTS pin doesn't need to be connected to anything.
I ignore "one post wonders".

True. But since it's a tutorial, I think it makes sense to dot every i and cross every t and follow best practices, no?

With the CTS pin disconnected, the board will fail ERC.

Ok, sure... Absolutely every i is crossed and every t dotted.
All you have to do is follow the directions.
Step 1, Step 2, left foot, right foot.
No thinking involved. Blindly follow the instructions. Stay inside the box.
Learn everything, but yet, learn nothing.
I ignore "one post wonders".
