I just read the blog about your inventory (https://www.sparkfun.com/news/1230).

I really enjoy that you guys are open to your customers. That's probably the number 1 reason why I shop here. As well as excellent customer service and support.

But I would like to see Sparkfun carry more individual components, especially SMD. For example, more people and hobbyists are using SMD caps, resistors, and LEDs. Would love to see you guys carry a variety of 1206, 0805, maybe even 0603 caps and resistors. I am sure you would give Digikey and Mouser a run for their money.

While I tend to put together projects at Mouser and make one-click purchases, the following are items I'd add to a Sparkfun order just to keep on hand:

0603 passives in strips of 25 or 50
0805 10uF, 25V MLCC caps
FT230XS and FT231XS
Regulators in TO-252-3 package
General purpose transistors and FETs in SOT-23
