Product Comments - session cookies

Session cookies work ok for me in the forum, but I was unable to post a comment on a product using session cookies. It worked OK once I temporarily enabled all cookies.
WinXP SP3, FireFox 9.01. I didn't try any other combo yet.
I realize now that I should have tried enabling permanent cookies for sparkfun.com rather than all cookies.
