Sparkfun site loggin?

I tried to log in to the SFE site (not the forum site) and was unable to. I had logged in about a month ago just fine so I assumed I had forgotten my password. When I went to password recovery, it didn't recognize the email account that I registered with. Hmmm, I tried several other possible (but highly unlikely) accounts to no avail. I wound up creating a new account but couldn't use my old screen name because, I guess, it's still in there. Something seems broken.
While I'm complaining, the forum password recovery process requires both screen name and email account. That seems overkill - I was lucky to have used my regular screen name here (same as the SFE site) or I would have been out of luck. Why not drop the user/screen name from password recovery? email address seems to be sufficient for every other site out there.
