Is there any chance of adding a local pickup option for BatchPCB? I wouldn't mind paying the $2 pickup fee that sparkfun orders charge, just to get it a bit faster. (You guys are, uh, more or less on my way home from work. And it would give me an excuse to leave early...)

Email us. The $10 handling fee still has to be applied because it is a PCB handling fee (panelization and stuff), but the shipping can be refunded.
