How about at hot link on each forum page header to take the viewer directly to your product index?

Did you want to see the link from the SFE store front to the forum? Or a more accessible store front link from the forum topic title?

If you go to the top of the page you are reading, right now, you see:

"Spark Fun Electronics"

What if clicking on that name took you directly to the Spark Fun home page.

Here is an example:

This is a forum for people who participate in Olympic shooting events. The site is sponsored and moderated by a commercial vendor. His link is found under the title of the page. Click on the link to leave the forum and go to his vendor home page.

Good idea... I've had to open a new window many times to check out product descriptions when posts don't link to them. Or I see a good idea, and wanna order parts for it.

That's funny because I've thought the same thing as well. Making "Spark Fun Electronics" a hyperlink would be pretty convenient

My example above, Targettalk, and Spark Fun, both use the same forum software (phpBB) so it should be doable.
