BatchPCB Addresses Page does not catch bad postal code

Post by iansmith » Tue Apr 05, 2011 6:09 pm

I found out that if you enter a bad postal code in one of your address, you don't get any error message. A co-worker entered "WA" for the postal code accidentally. When they tried to checkout you get no shipping options. Before we noticed the Postal Code was wrong we were confused on why the page wasn't loading any shipping options. Also it was difficult to tell the address was wrong on the checkout page because the address fields are not labeled. A good error message when entering the address like "Hey dumb dumb the 'Postal Code' should be a number" would have helped. The other option would be to give an error message on the checkout screen like "No shipping options, for specified 'Postal Code'."

I'm a huge fan of this site, just wanted to give you some feed back.

Thanks,
Ian
