unable to change password, instructions incorrect

unless i'm viewing a different profile page than intended, there is no way to change my password to something i can remember. According to the FAQ to change my password i need to go to the Profile page. when i do that, the only catagories are as follows:

AOL Instant Messenger:
WL/MSN Messenger:
Yahoo Messenger:
Jabber address:
Website:
Location:
Occupation:
Interests:
Birthday:
no password field. please let me know how exactly my password can be changed. also, the instructions at the top mention that fields marked with an asterisk are mandatory but there aren't any fields on the page marked with an astericks. thanks.
