Using some quick sleuthery, I discovered that the SparkFun logo font is a creatively styled version of Arial.

Ah, maybe the kerning was a little off in my version. It was a good try though!

SparkFun uses Arial!

That's a styled Helvetica, not Arial.
(the SparkFun logo, that is)

While you could say Helvetica is a creatively styled Arial, i'm pretty sure it would result in squads of angry typography junkies suddenly developing a hunger for your flesh.
