I just received my new POR and had a couple questions since I'm a software guy and want to make sure I take care my POR properly.

1) The documentation says the POR's internal battery lasts for 30 hours. Is this standby time, or active talk time, or is their no difference for this produce?

2) Proper care and feeding: If I'm going to keep the POR on my office desk, is it better to leave it unplugged and charge when I notice the battery is low, or is it better to leave it plugged in constantly?

I believe I answered this over email, but I'll post a reply here just in case.

1) It has 30 hours of standby time (I number I tested last week, actually it's a bit longer than that).

2) Like all battery powered rechargeable electronics, it's best to cycle the power every now and then, so although it can be powered constantly, cycle the batteries once a week or so.
