Hello everyone.

I have two questions about this product:

First, does the back 3-pin JST connector fit this 3-pin JST wire:

And second, the description of this LCD kind of implies that even though it's serial enabled, you could drive it using a parallel connection. Is this possible, by using the regular connectors on the back? In other words, would it work for the regular LCD tutorials?

Yes, the 3-pin JST connector fits the 3-pin wire you posted. Those will work together. You can also use just a standard 3-pin header if you want, but you would need to solder it right below the JST (if you didn't want to use the JST).

This LCD is really designed for use as a serial LCD. Check out the schematic and see if it will work for you otherwise:
