I thought the same thing and just turned off images in IE. Not getting me any closer to putting order in, though.

What a giant failure.

1. Offer to give away 100k (which is probably more like 30k tax write off) in free merchandise.
2. Get loads of FREE advertising.
3. Set the front door on fire and don't let anyone in to get the free merchandise.

I'm sure the Pentium II server they have is on fire at this point. How could they not foresee this problem? I hope they can find a way to dig themselves out of this mess but I imagine there will be some backlash from unhappy customers. Do I really care about free 100 bucks, no, but it doesn't look good for SparkFun as a company. And I probably would have bought stuff anyways even if it wasn't free but good luck checking out anytime soon.

Well, I had gotten to the checkout phase several (SEVERAL) times, but instead of opening the page, Firefox tries to save it to the Desktop. This happens when a PHP page is not properly coded.
