Hi,

I would like to let you know about something you could add in the tutorial : http://www.sparkfun.com/tutorial/PG2C/p ... icprog.htm

I had some problems to use the ICSP for the PIC 16F628 and 16F628A.

I solve the problem when I plugged the last pin (pin 6) of the ICSP connector to the ground (of the breadboard). This pin is the PGM pin (RB3 most of the time).

So, like it says on IC-Prog website, I think you could mention that for some PICs we have to pull PGM to GND .

Anyway, thanks for you cool website and I have a lot of fun with this nice (and cheap) programmer.

Thanks for the info! I'll see if we can update those tutorials when we revamp the website in a few weeks.
