Wav Trigger Activation on voltage Input

I'm slowly working thru my questions.

My understanding is that you can activate the wav trigger by supplying a voltage between 3.4 & 5 volts.

I am unable to get that to work, either on DC or AC voltage.

I've tried it both inverted and non-inverted on that trigger

I need some advice.
