It should work. I had it working from +5V to +28V (I was using very low speed .. only because I was using it to switch a high voltage on/off with an Arduino).

Thanks. I'm trying to count 12V pulses using 5V arduino. There isn't a reason that it shouldn't work per spec sheet. But it's great to hear real people saying that it works at higher voltages. I have a few "clone" boards I got off amazon. I'll check them with signal generator tomorrow to see how sluggish they might be. I'm looking at no more than 1KHz counting. I'll post some results tomorrow.

I did some tests with a board I got from amazon or ebay. The design is the same although I don't know if the N-MOSEFTs are the same as sparkfun's ones. The input was 12V square waves at 1KHz between 0V and 12V. I supplied VH with 12V DC, VL with 5V DC. Output pulses are 5V and look decent.

I'm interested in finding out why adafruit has listed 10V as the maximum voltage.
