LSM9DS1_Basic_I2C.ino won't compile

Just received the 9-DOF board and tried to compile the example LSM9DS1_Basic_I2C.ino with Arduino 1.8.5. Tried UNO, Nano and Teensy 3.1/3.2 micros. No luck. Gives the message "Error compiling for board Arduino/Genuino Uno", etc.

Using AVRiSP MKII compiler.

Suggestions?
