BOB-12009 3.3v to/from 5v

Hello,

I'd like to use the BOB-12009(https://www.sparkfun.com/products/12009) or something similar to drive a DHT22 module that's powered with 5v. And communicating with ESP-01 @ ~3.3v. Will this device work for communicating with the DHT22?

Also, what is the maximum voltage difference between LV and HV for this device?

This could be used turn the ouput signal (max 5V) from the DHT22 to the ESP (max 3V3). As it only one data line, you could also make a voltage divider with 2 resistors or you can use the DHT22 on 3v3,

The HV looks to be max 50V and the LV ~20V ( but this based on the used BSS138 data sheet)
