Greetings all:
I'm having difficulty finding _available_ crypto hardware for my arduino project(s).
So far I've found, retired, the following:
https://www.sparkfun.com/products/retired/13183
https://www.sparkfun.com/products/retired/12773
The only remaining product that handles embedded crypto, is the all-in-one Arduino MKR1000, but I don't believe it supports encryption per se (as-in an open/usable crypto suite), but rather Wi-Fi security (i.e.: WPA, hopefully).
Why has all the crypto seemingly been pulled from the market? Obviously RC4 has crashed and burned, and all the industry is forklifting over to EC and EDH, where possible. Surprisingly, the crypto shield already supported EC & 2k RSA as well as strong AES, so totally up to today's standards. The only thing missing is EDH for PFS, and, seriously, that's still spectacular for an embedded system _today_, let alone from before 2016!
Just curious if I'm hitting the market "in between products", or something. I've searched both here and abroad, and I'm not finding any hits, so thought I'd drop a note here.
Thanks!
