Hi everyone,

I'm new to sparkfun and arduino products, but I'd like to make a clock with a digital display.

I have four, 10 pin 7 segment display elements that are currently embedded in some extraneous hardware from a piece of equipment, and I'd like to use these 4 elements to make a clock.

I saw the KIT-10930 Clockit, but noticed that the four 7 segment display elements have a total of 16 pins, while my four 7 segment display elements have 40 pins. Is there a way that I can somehow wire my 40 pins to the 16 sources on the kit board?

I would remove my elements from the surrounding hardware, but this would create significant damage, and the spacing of the elements wouldn't match up well, so I need to keep my 4 elements where they are.

Do you have any suggestions? Thanks for your help!
