Change device name of Pro Micro

Is there a way to change the device name, friendly name, that is enumerated when I plug in my Pro Micro? I'm working on a project to use this device as a USB MIDI controller and I would like to have a more descriptive name for the device. Right now it is showing up as simply 'SparkFun Pro Micro'.

Using the method described in the link I was able to change the MIDI device name. The hardware name is device manager is still showing 'SparkFun Pro Micro'
