When reading a sine wave of constant frequency and amplitude the read decay of 10% per read gives an erroneous output. It lowers for several reads then bounces back up. Any ideas on how to overcome this annoying "feature"?

It seems to be more pronounced in the lower bands. One idea is to ignore every X readings on the low bands. Another is to reset the thing between every read.

The other thought I have is that it's not the read decay but the read rate, reading lower frequencies at a slower rate (skipping every X readings) is the answer.

Any ideas on how to better read the spectrum analyzer low frequencies would be appreciated.

Thanks all
