I want to drive high-quality Citizen, Bridgelux or Lumileds LEDs. They require 34-36V forward voltage, depending on model.

The SparkFun Femto Buck looks like it could work https://www.sparkfun.com/products/13716 but what step-up module would I need to use LiIon batteries, because these only deliver 3.7V, so the voltage needs to be boosted.

Thanks for any hints on what to buy!

A dc-dc step-up converter that outputs 36 volt maximum from an input as low as 3 volt. The femtobuck is a current regulated stepdown converter so it's input needs to be higher than it's output. Incidentally 36 volt is also the maximum input voltage to the Femtobuck.

Alright, so the Femto Buck is out and I need to find a small Arduino-compatible step-up driver that will boost the 3,7V to 36V. Can't find anything like it at Sparkfun or Pimoroni, etc. What do you guys use to power high-quality LEDs from the major brands? They're always between 34V and 36V.
