Hi,

I purchased and tried to connect a AS726x sensor to an Arduino Uno using the Qwiic Shield
AS726x learn page
Qwiic Shiled learn page

I get "I2C Error" in the Serial Terminal when running the code from Example #1 of the AS726x learn link.

I tried to connect using 2 Arduino boards. I bought 2 sensors and tried connecting both (not at the same time) and get the same error

I also tried to see if I can scan for connected I2C devices using code from here:
https://playground.arduino.cc/Main/I2cScanner

I'd appreciate any ideas on how to debug the I2C connection and Qwiic sensors\shield.

Thanks.

Some thoughts : The scanner should detect the AS726X at address 0x49, if not, can you check that JP1 is closed with solder and JP2 is open on the boards? Did you try with different QWICC wire as well? Are the headers (to connect with the Arduino) soldered on the QWICC shield ? If you have a voltmeter, can you check the 3.3V and 5V?
