Replacement for ADNS2620?

Is there a new recommended mouse sensor?
All of the ADNS-* sensors are now obsolete, and I can't work out what's replaced them.
Ideally I'd also be looking for a device that aims away from the PCB with embedded illumination that doesn't require an additional lens assembly. I realise that's a huge ask, so I'll settle for in production.
