Sewable LED ribbon question

Hi
I am new to e textiles. A dog group I am with is in a few Christmas parades and I would like to add lights to my dog's coats. The Sewable ribbon ( https://www.sparkfun.com/products/14136) appears to be exactly what I want as I could trim the edges of the coats with it. My question is how much power supply would I need for 1 - 2 meters of ribbon? I have some Lilypad battery holders (https://www.sparkfun.com/products/13883), will they work? If so, how many should I use?
