Change MAC Address on Pro Micro?#196585

Hi!
I was wondering if there was any way to change the MAC address of a Pro Micro board, is there some sort of firmware tool that can do this? I am attempting to change it to an Apple MAC address so I do not get problems with the Keyboard assistant when plugged into my laptop.

Probably not. THose are typically OTP: one-time programmable regions in the device memory.

They are programmable on the ATMega line, but it will require recompiling and reprogramming the firmware.

Good to know. I've only set PID/VID on stand-alone USB converter chips.
