Will this conductive thread "cut it"?

I need to suspend an LED in the air, and would like to make how it gets power as invisible as possible. It seems impossible to get flat black conductive thread, but since it won't be in a sewing machine, no problem. It can't, however "chip" off. I can't use actual wire, no matter how flexible.

Since there are no specs at all on this thread on the product page (size, electrical characteristics, tensile strength, etc.), it is difficult to easily drop $40 plus shipping.

How would YOU go about suspending (and powering) an LED as invisibly as possible (where flat black is best, for color of wire/thread)?

TIA!

I'd use 30 gauge wire and spray paint it.
