best thermistors for a 4th grade project

Students will be learning to use Scratch to measure and display on chromebooks temperatures in model playgrounds of their design. The models will be ~ 1.5 x 1.5 meters in size and exposed to a heat lamp to represent the sun. They will use Scratch to monitor and display the data from an array of thermistors (~10?). What would be the best and cheapest thermistors for this purpose?
