I bought tiny avr programmer to flash the atmega328p on windows. I installed the driver and it is recognized. I connected 6 pins of this avr programmer to the 6 pins(miso, mosi, sck, rst, gnd and vcc).

I followed this instruction. https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/ti ... stallation

I am getting this message when I executed the following command line.

C:\Arduino\hardware\tools\avr/bin/avrdude -CC:\Arduino\hardware\tools\avr/etc/avrdude.conf -v -p atmega328p -c usbtiny -b 57600 -Uflash:w:C:\Downloads\BlinkPrint.ino.hex:i

avrdude done. Thank you.

Is there anything wrong?

I am trying to program a different AVR on a breadboard like you are doing. I am using Arduino IDE. I set it to Attiny84 (the chip I am burning), connected the six pins but just get that the chip signature does not match.

Do you know if I am using the correct method? I have it hooked up wiring wise but not sure if I am using the correct Arduino IDE menu options.

Thanks.
