Hello,

I bought the Opto-isolator Breakout (https://www.sparkfun.com/products/9118) to control the supply voltage for a weather station (5 volts). The weather station occasionally needs to be reset, which can only be done by cycling its power.

I connected the IN1 to D6 (& connected the ground) on a 3.3V Arduino and the HV & HV-GND to the 5V power supply. OUT1 goes to the weather station.

It didn't work, so I tested it by "blinking" D6 and found that OUT1 was only going to 1.6V. HV is definitely at 5V.

I tried using IN2/OUT2 with the same results. Tried it on a 5V uno too. No luck.

Any suggestions? Is 5V output too low for this breakout?
