I don't think there would be enough I/O pins left on the '328 to drive the display directly. The display requires at least 7 I/O pins. You could use a SparkFun Serial Enabled LCD Backpack (LCD-00258) between them to reduce the pin count requirement. Of course, you'd have to rewrite the firmware as well.

That would work, but I don't see any datasheet links on that page and there may not be library support available for it. Also, the seller doesn't appear to know the difference between I2C (which it has) and SPI (which it doesn't). Sparkfun also has several serial enabled displays, though they cost a bit more. Adafruit has them too, though the prices are similar to SF.
