I'm a software developer (and a pilot). Hardware (IMU's, etc) isn't really my area of expertise... so please be kind.
What I'm trying to do is build a device to determine when an aircraft isn't coordinated. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coordinated_flight. There are analog and digital slip/skid (uncoordinated conditions) indicators. I just want to know if either, neither, or both, of these IMU's will provide this information, and how.
I don't know that data from the gyro and acceleratorometer are sufficient. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Richard
