Hi I accidently put a DS18S20 into my breadboard backwards (5vdc to GND pin and Gnd to Vdd pin). Is it dead now? I am trying to interface to it, but keep getting 0xff for each temperature bytes. I've looked at the data sheets, but don't see if its got protection on this.
