I have a segway and ground vehicles bump terrain. If my vehicle bumps a wall I don't want the magnetometer to stopp reading data because this would stop it from navigating. With quadcopters theres no issue but ground vehivles must continue to get data even when bumped.


I was wondering if a magnetometer existed which didn't glitch if it were bumped or shaken at high accelerations.

Have you thought about smoothing the signal using a low-pass filter? I suggest that anyway as that will rid you of any other transients you might happen to pick up.
