Silent motors for robot

Hi guys

I need your advice for my project. I am building a rover which should be as silent as whispering since it should run all day in my flat.
Do you have stepper motors (in total 4) which could drive a rover of the size of the Nomad 4WD this silent? Precision is not important.

Thank you very much for any help.

You can purchase quiet motors, but that really won't help much when everything else will be making all the noise. Like, gears, plastic wheels/tires, etc...

I totally agree. Nevertheless, that doesn't answer my question ;) My question is if sparkfun has stepper motors and a controller which can work that silently.

If the product description doesn't have Silent in it, then it's probably not.. What size motor and at what voltage?

Voltage between 3-12V, size doesn't matter.
Does anyone have experience with the sound level of the sparkfun stepper motors in microstepping mode?
I have another question: Does anybody know what types of stepper motors can be controlled with the TMC2100 driver IC from Trinamic in the stealthchop mode?

The Actobotics/RobotZone precision gearmotors are amazingly quiet. https://www.sparkfun.com/categories/247
