Sorry to bring up the old post/thread..
but I am having issues with my Pro-Mini too.. not sure if its bootloader related or what?

When its connected it shows up as a Leonardo? (and not a Pro-Mini).. when prompted for the (tons) of device driver installs.. I try to use the Pro-Micro.inf file.. but says there is no information about my device in the file?
Fuses wrong? (need to somehow re-burn bootloader?)
How many times should one get the device driver prompts? Only once?
Each times it connected? several times each time its connected to a PC?
