Hi all,

I'm after a good general-purpose oscilloscope for myself. I'd like to know how this device measures up. I don't have a specific project in mind, but I'd definitely like something useful for Arduino and other simple-to-medium complexity tasks. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Many thanks

After reading the reviews, I decided to go with the DSO Quad. It has 2x Analog + 2x Digital channels.

I've read the reviews as well, and I would spend a few extra bucks to get a real Oscilloscope.

+1 for codlink's recommendation. You can get a real scope for around $250 or less on eBay used. Or spend about $400 and get a brand new 4 channel full featured scope.

If you stick with electronics, you will outgrow the Nano almost immediately. The real scope will serve you a long time. On the other hand, if you tire of electronics, the Nano is pretty much trash where a real scope can be sold for a good fraction of its original coast.
