I have implemented the ADXL345 basic project exactly as described in the ADXL345 Quickstart Guide.

Everything seems to be working fine, however when I tilt the accelerometer board the readings from the IC do not change for about 10 to 15 seconds. I was expecting a much quicker response time than that. Data is being read constantly from the IC, but values stay the same until about 10 seconds after the movement has occurred.

I am using the "ADXL345 Basic Arduino Code" downloaded from the quick start guide.

Does anyone have any ideas?
