I just finished a project which runs a small motor. When I hook the Redboard up via USB, it works like a charm. When I hook up the 9V barrel connector it ticks and doesn't run the motor. I'm guessing the 9V doesn't put out enough power to run the motor.
Do I have any alternatives to this? The project uses the 5V side of the RedBoard.
