Hi,

I'm interrested in buying the mini lipo charger for my project.
My question is : The usb port is to be connected to a wall plugged charger or a PC usb plug ?
In fact, after some researchs on the usb protocol, I've seen the notion of descriptor. For what i've learned, a descriptor informs the host what is the power (current) required to power the device. If noting is received by the host, 100 mA are available (500 mA max if requested by the device).
I've seen that on the lipo charger, nothing can send this kind of information. I'm afraid that if the my device ask for more than 100mA (default) (I want to charge my lipo with a 160mA current) the USB plug detectes it and stops the power approvisionnement (reacts like a current overshoot detection).

Can you please clarify if the charger can be plugged throught a USB plug ?

Thanks in advance !
