Greetings, I spent most of the day networking with other Edisonites on the Intel forum, and poking around, and trying in vain to find out -anything at all- about the MCU sitting there idle in my Edison SoC. The last update on the Intel site is about a month ago... and no word then. I am of course trying to find out when (if ever) Wind River plans to get RTOS running on the Edison MCU; specifically, have any of you fine folks at Sparkfun heard anything encouraging along these lines?
My Edison is humming along; my 'sketches' are running fine (Arduino IDE) and my first C|C++ from the Intel SDK is running great too (thank you, Sparkfun for the tips) so I'm really pumped about the Edison... but, I am really wanting my project to have real-time control with the MCU, and I'm beginning to think that Intel has forgotten their commitment?? <sigh>
Anybody heard -anything- about the Wind River RTOS?
TIA
Cheers,
marcus
