HI, I'm working on a hobby project and am wondering if the piezo electric sensors would work well on a violin to determine which string(s) are currently being plucked or bowed?
There are four sensors on Sparkfun, and I'm not sure which would work (if any).

I don't need an audio signal from these sensors, so a high-quality pickup isn't necessary. I'm just interested in a precise, boolean indication of when (and for how long) a particular string is being manipulated. The response should be clearly distinguishable from vibrations of an adjacent string.
Here's a picture for clarity. Any insight greatly appreciated, thanks!
