I have the SFE passive PoE cable set (CAB-10759) and want to power a Raspberry Pi (B or B+) with it. I was thinking of connecting this to a SparkFun Breadboard Power Supply (PRT-00114) and with a SparkFun USB Type A Female Breakout (BB-12700) on the breadboard to use a USB micro-B to power the Pi. This way I can both power a Pi and have network connectivity a long distance away using only CAT5E.
Will this work?
