Powering Bluetooth Mate Gold#178456

Hi all
I am having issues powering the bluetooth mate gold module. I am attaching it directly to the FTDI connector on a Lilypad arduino simple-snap board. The lithium battery is fully charged. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Are you talking about the battery that comes with it? As per the pics, it has it's own pads to connect to.

I spoke with the excellent sparkfun support - this works..
re-rout the VCC pin on the Bluetooth module to the "+" snap on the Lilypad.
