Can the Solder-able Breadboard - Mini be used as a prototyping shield for a Pro Micro board ?

I'm thinking of soldering male header pins on the Pro Micro and female on the breadboard. Solder the add-on parts to the breadboard, then plug them together. Any obvious issues with doing this ?

My first impression is that the 9709 product is too small for my needs, in that it doesn't allow me to connect all the pins. But it is nice that it has paths for Vcc and GND. The 9709 appears to be 12x5 holes, with a 4x7 wing on one end.

The 12702 'mini' board is (size wise) 17x12 holes, with no paths for Vcc or GND, per se, but it does have the lateral paths outwards for each pin connection. It is actually a little larger than what I need, but still useful. One advantage of the 12702 board is that it has holes for mounting standoffs, which the neither the Pro Micro, nor the 9709 board, have.

Thanks for pointing it out tho.
