Hi there,
I just bought the pretty Geiger Counter's and I'd like to know about the version of firmware inside.

Especially, I'd just need a 1 send to my serial port when a disintegration is detected and nothing when nothing is detected only that.

We should be shipping these with the v12 firmware. The only way to tell what firmware is on the device is to play with it and see how it behaves.

You can always just re-upload whichever firmware you would want on the device as well.

JTAG is the way to go. The firmware can be found here as hex files: https://github.com/a1ronzo/SparkFun-Gei ... its/master

You can also use another Arduino to upload the firmware as well: https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/in ... bootloader
