I'm guessing it's a handmade assembly of two red LEDs, a plastic tube or rod and two metal ferrules. Probably not an off-the-shelf item. Maybe you could make something similar by taking a part a 3AG glass fuse for the endcaps and maybe the body

I think its much simpler. They look like automotive fuses with their ends drilled out. I'm going to look more closely but I think I see letters stamped on those metal ferrules.

Ok looked again and the markings look like volt and amp ratings. I think they are filled with epoxy or some other pour-able resin type product or they just used the metal from the fuse and the plastic light pipe.

ETA missed that some one brought up fuses but still certain that's what they are.
