Good Day All,

I'm looking for how to correctly hook up Sparkfun's Quadstepper Motor Driver Board ROB-10507 https://www.sparkfun.com/products/10507 to an Arduino Mega 2560. Wanting to drive a two ROB-10846 Stepper Motors https://www.sparkfun.com/products/10846 independently with this board.
The application is to move 2 axis and not super fast.

I understand the following should be connected from the driver board to Arduino Mega 2560:
Motor1 STP pin: mega pin 11
Motor2 STP pin: mega pin 5
Motor3 STP pin: mega pin 6
Motor4 STP pin: mega pin 46

My questions:
1. what power supply should I used to power the board to support the 2 motors (volts/amps) ?
2. Can Arduino be powered from the driver board or do I need to power Arduino separately?
3. I'm assuming the Dir pins are set hi or low to control the direction?
4. How are MS1, MS2,MS3 used, do they control step mode (full, half, quarter, eight, sixthteenth?
5. I'm assuming I need to put the 5V jumper in place in order to use Arduino Mega 2560?
6.Anyone have any info on how to use the bus connection on this board?

Thanks for any Help you can provide,
Don Anderson

Why don't you start a new thread rather than bumping 3 year old posts?

Too minimize my digital footprint? Also, perhaps the original poster will see this and have a solution for me after 3 years. Would that improve the likelihood that this will get answered? If so, I'll gladly make a new post. thanks!

I highly doubt that the OP with 9 posts is still around after 3 years, much less still in the hobby.

Make a new post with your problem and your code and everything you have tried.
