SparkFun have many different displays for sale.

Which ones i can just plug in easily to CMOS camera module and then see video in screen?

I don't want any complicated thing which requires programming etc.

Thanks

I don't think any of SparkFun's display can display an image directly from a camera's output.

The simplest camera (sold by SparkFun) to interface with is probably this one.

http://www.sparkfun.com/products/8739

It outputs a NTSC signal which can be viewed on many TV monitors. I don't think any of SparkFun's displays can directly interface with a NTSC.

The NTSC input is often called "video in" on monitors. Some portable DVD players have screens with a "video in" connection, but not all of them.

Edit: SparkFun also sells an IR camera which has NTSC output.

Sorry i forgot to mention that i need PAL.

If there is simple camera like above 8739 which outputs to PAL, can i just give it power and hook it to "video in" and it works without any programming etc?

Do you know any cheap displays sold else where? Thanks

I linked to the wrong camera. The IR camera is here:
http://www.sparkfun.com/products/8773

Both the IR camera and the other camera I listed also work with PAL.

Adafruit has several differnt small displays that work with NTSC and PAL. Here's one:

https://www.adafruit.com/products/911

If a display supports PAL (and it seems most that can use NTSC also can use PAL these days) will either automatically detect the PAL signal or it will have a switch or jumper to select PAL input. Once PAL input is selected, you should be able to connect a PAL camera with a PAL display without any programming.

Some DVD player displays my require a setting change from an on screen menu.
