Hi
I'm looking for a development board with a UART capable of running faster than 1 Mbps. (2-3 Mbps would be just great).
So far I have found boards with UART speeds up to 400 kbps.
The processor type is of less importance as long as there is a compiler available and enough memory (256 kROM/FLASH, 64 kRAM).
Thanks in advance.

Philips makes a UART that works at 2 Mbaud. Something like a ARM chip interfaced to that UART will probably do what you want, but it might not be available off the shelf. BTW, it will have to be RS-422, not RS-232 at that speed.
